"I first saw Michael play at a restaurant one evening, and instantly thought “that guy would be perfect for my upcoming birthday party”. Well, Michael did indeed end up playing at my party – a professionally catered event with 120 family and friends attending. Potentially this was a “tough audience”, with a number of musicians in the crowd… but the feedback was off the charts good. In conversations and text messages after the event, I had the following comments:
• That guy you had playing was amazing
• Awesome voice
• Read the audience beautifully and played all the right music
• Very talented musician
• He didn’t stop all night
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Michael Hickey to any person or any corporate looking for a genuinely nice bloke to deliver a first class entertainment experience."

Guido Lin - Live Music

Keyboardist  Keyboard Player  Keyboard Owner  Guido Lin who once carried mic stands for the highly talented and iconic Griffith band Hostage, has finally got the hint and gone out on his own so he can carry his own equipment.

After discovering his own power was never switched on while standing behind Hostage drummer or at times off stage, Lin has taken to the streets of West End to rediscover his own style or at least some kind of style.

Ever since his overwhelmingly successful debut solo tour of the Riverina's finest Curves clubs, Guido has taken the inspiration from the larger community to delve deeper into his Casio Casiotone CT 201 keyboard instructional booklet to unleash it's samba drum beats and clavinova one finger power chords.

Lin is the pioneer of the strained vocal technique which is his own experiment in the dark and dangerous overuse of tight football shorts.

No matter how Lins concert ends - a power outage from the over use of his onstage curling wand, a lack of blood to his legs or some random butternut pumpkin launched from angry Flock Of Seagulls fans .... as long as it ends, you can be glad you didn't pay for him to entertain.

Perfect for low budget Widgelli weddings, AA Meetings and herding cats.
